David Brannen is the real deal. I've known him for years as a husband, father, and friend. I've watched him make hard decisions with integrity. He's grounded, family-centered, and the same man every time. That kind of character is a treasure, and it tells you everything you need to know.
David Brannen is a clear-headed, courageous leader. He doesn't shy away from hard decisions or difficult conversations - he leans into them with wisdom and steadiness. He's the kind of person who does the hard thing when it would be easier not to. I trust his judgment, and that's not something I say about many people.
What sets David apart is his quiet confidence - rooted in wisdom, not ego. He shows up with consistency, follows through, and stays focused on what actually matters. His humility makes him approachable; his judgment makes him invaluable. He's someone I trust. He is also kind, which might be his secret sauce.
David is a leader who truly understands what it means to steward resources well - not just financially, but in how he manages people, relationships, and opportunity. He makes thoughtful decisions, asks the right questions, and never loses sight of the long-term picture. He treats what's been entrusted to him with care, and that's exactly what you want in someone taking over something you've built.
I've worked alongside David for 15+ years. David leads with consistency and integrity, no matter the season. He sets the tone for his team, holds a high bar, and backs it up with how he shows up every day. He knows when to challenge and when to encourage. He continually chooses a positive outlook and believes in what is possible.
David Brannen is a faith-driven leader! What truly differentiates David is his foundation in integrity and stewardship - where he honorably serves his heavenly Father, his family, and his business. He prioritizes "doing the right thing" as a servant leader who views people and stakeholders not as numbers on a sheet, but as people to be served. David is looking to make his next business chapter a great success with a kingdom impact - honoring history and legacy while applying his proven experience to further grow success. I wholeheartedly recommend David Brannen as the ideal leader for any organization's future.
I'm husband to Callie and father to Moses, Oliver and Emmy. My faith and family are the reason I work the way I do - and the reason I want to help build something that lasts. I graduated from Harbert College of Business at Auburn University (War Eagle!) and received my MBA from Kennesaw State University. Outside of work you'll find me coaching youth sports, mountain biking, serving at church or Lighthouse Family Retreats, and playing chef/bartender for my friends. These are the good old days!
I'm a senior business leader with 17 years of experience building teams, launching products, and driving profitable growth. My work has spanned the full scope of a GM role - P&L ownership, client strategy, talent development, and cross-functional execution - with a consistent focus on building cultures where people do their best work.
I'm pursuing my next senior leadership opportunity - whether that's a GM, COO, or comparable role where I can bring fresh energy to an organization ready to grow. I'm also selectively exploring business acquisition as a path, particularly where an owner is looking for a thoughtful successor who will honor what they've built.
"Culture eats strategy for breakfast." - Peter Drucker
I spent 17 years at Boosterthon, a company that partners with school administrators and parent group leaders to deliver America's leading fitness-based, school fundraising program. It's a people-intensive, relationship-driven business. Over those years, I had the opportunity to build two product lines from the ground up that grew to represent a meaningful share of company revenue, as well as lead my own business unit and team.
I led a regional business unit with local P&L responsibility, consistently growing revenue while meeting or exceeding financial margin targets. I built and developed a team of Account Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance and care - our team achieved the highest member retention in the company. Sales management and direct sales were core to the role, and we consistently met or exceeded net new revenue growth plans. At the center of all of it was client relationships - we prioritized long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships, which resulted in world-class Net Promoter Scores and industry-leading client retention rates.
I spearheaded the development and launch of two new product lines that transformed Boosterthon's service delivery model, growth trajectory, and total addressable market. Starting with client research and competitive landscape analysis, I identified a market opportunity for remote service delivery and led a cross-functional team to build a compelling value proposition. I helped create a comprehensive go-to-market strategy including sales materials, training curriculum, and fulfillment processes. Those two products became Boosterthon's fastest-growing segment, now representing 70% of the client base.
